Your photos never leave your device
Kurinuki Try-On Camera never sends your photos anywhere. All image processing — including editing and compositing — happens on your device; photos you shoot or pick, and the images made from them, are never sent to a server. "Auto-select the clothes" also runs on a model built into the app. Related questions are in the FAQ, too.
The only network use is for showing ads
- The app shows ads so it can be used for free. These are delivered through Google's AdMob, which sends information from your device to Google to the extent needed to show an ad.
- The only network activity the app has is for this ad delivery. It doesn't use any analytics or crash-reporting service.
- Images are never read or sent for advertising purposes.
- For ad delivery and measurement, Google may collect an advertising identifier (Android's advertising ID), device information, your IP address and the rough region it suggests, and a record of interactions with ads. Google collects this — the app's provider never stores or views it.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID from your device settings at any time.
- If you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, a consent screen for ads appears on first launch. You can change your choice at any time from Settings.
Only ever stored on your device
- Cutout images (saved when you "Apply" — you can delete these at any time from Settings or the saved-image list, and they're never added to your photo library)
- The photo picked as a backdrop, and its position, size, and angle
- Names and favourite stars you give to cutouts and backdrop photos in the list screen
- The Try-on log (when you tap "Save" on the review screen, a copy of the photo and the note you typed. It keeps the newest 40 and removes older ones automatically; you can delete it any time from "Try-on log / Compare" on the home screen)
- App settings (brush width, tap-erase range, whether haptic feedback is on)
- A record of your ad consent choice (only in regions where the consent screen appears)
None of this can be read by other apps, and none of it is ever sent anywhere. Uninstalling the app removes all of it from your device.
Access to the camera and your photos
About images you share
Once you share an image to another app through your device's own share feature, what happens to it after that follows the policies of wherever you sent it. Whether and how you share or publish an image you've made is your own decision and responsibility.
About this website
Everything above is about the Kurinuki Try-On Camera app itself. This website you're reading now uses Google Analytics to measure visits, via cookies. That's an analysis of the website itself, separate from the app's own network use (ad delivery only, as described above). Information collected this way is handled under Google's privacy policy. You can disable cookies from your browser's own settings if you'd rather not be measured.
