Pricing, accounts & ads
Is there a charge to use it?
It’s free to use, supported by ads. A banner ad shows on the home screen. Only “Auto-select the clothes” (AI) has a limit — three free uses an hour — and using it again after that asks whether you’d like to watch a short video ad. Even without watching one, the free uses come back after a while. “Tap to erase” and “Trace to erase” are always free.
Do I need to create an account or log in?
No. There’s no sign-up or login, and no account is ever created.
I’m in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland — what about ad consent?
In these regions, the app shows a consent screen on first launch asking about the use of your information for personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time from Settings.
Offline use & supported devices
Does it work offline?
Yes. All photo editing and compositing happens on your device, so you can erase, try things on, and shoot even in airplane mode. A connection is only needed for the video ad shown once you go past the free AI uses (three an hour) — within that free allowance, AI selection works with no connection at all.
What devices does it support?
It’s built for Android. There’s no iPhone / iPad (iOS) version at this time.
Can I use the front (selfie) camera?
No — only the back camera is supported. The app is built around holding your phone up to clothing in front of you.
Photo safety & storage
Are my photos ever sent anywhere?
No. Photos you take or pick, and the cut-out or composited images made from them, are never sent to a server — all image processing happens on your device. The only network activity the app has is for showing ads; it doesn’t use any analytics or crash-reporting service. See the Privacy & safety page for details.
Where are my cutouts and data stored?
Only inside the app’s own storage on your device. Other apps can’t read it, and it’s never sent anywhere. It isn’t added to your photo library. You can delete saved cutouts and backdrop photos from Settings, and the Try-on log from “Try-on log / Compare” on the home screen; uninstalling the app removes everything.
Are my try-on shots saved automatically?
No. A review screen appears after you shoot, and a photo is added to your device’s photo app only when you tap “Save” — you can also share it from there. This keeps attempts that didn’t line up well out of your camera roll. Tapping “Save” also keeps a copy and your note in the app’s Try-on log so you can compare shots later (newest 40, deletable any time).
Is it okay to take photos inside a store?
Please follow the rules of wherever you’re shooting, such as a store’s own photography policy. If anyone else appears in the photo, get their consent first (from our Terms of Use).
Tips for a clean cutout
“Auto-select the clothes” isn’t finding the clothing well.
“Auto-select the clothes” is built for photos with a person in them. It can’t find clothing in images with no person — flat lays, clothes on a hanger, folded clothes, and so on. In those cases, tap a plain background instead, or use “Trace to erase”. Even on a photo of a person, if it doesn’t quite match, you can widen or narrow what it erased with the slider that appears afterward — no need to start over.
Can I undo it if I erase too much?
Yes. Trace over the over-erased area with the “Restore” brush to bring it back. “Undo” and “Reset” are also available. These still work even after tapping “Apply”, as long as you reopen the eraser in the same session. Once you close the app and pick a saved cutout back up later, though, that hole is baked into the image and can no longer be undone.
Can I try it with a photo of my dog or cat?
Yes. “Auto-select the clothes” and “Tap to erase” both struggle with fur, though, so trace over the clothing with “Trace to erase” instead. See the Choosing clothes for pets page for more.
Why can’t AI or tap-erase handle furry animals?
“Auto-select the clothes” is built to find human clothing, so it doesn’t recognise clothes on a pet. “Tap to erase” erases whatever is close in colour and connected to where you tapped — and fur has no clear colour edge, so the whole body gets erased along with the clothes. This isn’t something a setting can fix; it’s just how those tools work. “Trace to erase” is the reliable choice here.
Can I try on clothes I found online?
Yes. Choose “Try a garment online” on the home screen to pull just the clothing out of a product photo and lay it over your own photo. This works best with a photo of a model actually wearing the item. For a photo of just the garment — a flat lay or on a hanger — the AI can’t find it, so tap a plain background instead, or use “Trace to erase”.
Try-on results & “Continue where you left off”
Does the try-on look the same as actually wearing it?
No. What you see is a visual overlay — the camera feed or another photo showing through the transparent part of your photo. It doesn’t reproduce actually wearing the item, and fit, length, colour, and texture will differ from the real thing depending on distance, angle, lighting, and the camera itself. Please confirm the real item before making a purchase decision.
What does “Continue where you left off” do?
It saves the cutout and placement you set up at home, so the next time you open the app it’s right where you left it. “Try it in a shop” and “Try a garment online” each remember their own progress separately. To start over with a different photo, choose “Start fresh” instead.
